What situations would cause my parcel not to be insured?
There are a few things that will stop a parcel from being insured.
- Loss of a Parcel due to the absence of the Customer at the Address on the Attempted Delivery Date.
- Loss of a Parcel by a Customer.
- Loss of a Parcel due to an inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect Address or other personal information of the Customer.
- Loss caused by an event of force majeure, which includes (without limitation): war, civil war, revolution, rebellion, insurrection, or civil strike arising therefrom or any hostile act by or against a belligerent power, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster or epidemic of an infectious disease.
- Loss caused by the confiscation of a Parcel by any Authority.
- Loss caused by any intentional act, wilful omission, wilful misconduct, fraud or deception of the Insured, the Customer or a third party.
