What risks are excluded?
Please make sure you check to see what types of goods we do and don’t cover in the first instance. But here is a list of excluded risks.
- Damage or Loss that have not been processed and claimed through the Anansi System
- Any amount of Delivery Costs in excess of the Maximum Late Delivery Limit or any amount of Total Transaction Value in excess of the Maximum Loss Limit
- Any liability which You may have to a customer other than pursuant to Your terms of business, whether pursuant to any statute, regulation, common law or in equity.
- Damage or Loss of a Parcel containing illegal or controlled substances, including but not limited to, firearms and drugs/narcotics.
- Damage or Loss of a Parcel calculated by reference to an initial Scheduled Delivery Date where the Scheduled Delivery Date is changed following an amendment of an Order, including but not limited to, changes in the content of the Order, the Address or any other information that may affect the initial Scheduled Delivery Date. For the avoidance of doubt, Damage, Delay or Loss of a Parcel calculated by reference to the revised Scheduled Delivery Date are not excluded.
- Damage or Loss caused by: ordinary leakage; ordinary loss in weight or volume; ordinary wear and tear; inherent vice or nature of the goods that are the contents of a Parcel; faulty product or faulty workmanship.
- Damage,or Loss caused by: insufficiency or unsuitability of packing or preparation of a Parcel to withstand the ordinary incidents of the insured transit.
- Damage or Loss caused by variation in temperature or climatic conditions.
- Damage or Loss due to mechanical electronic or electrical derangement of the goods that are the contents of a Parcel unless there is evidence that the Damage, Delay or Loss occurred during the insured transit and was the result of a peril not otherwise excluded.
- Damage or Loss of a Parcel due to the absence of the customer at the Address on the Delivery Date.
- Damage or Loss of a Parcel by a customer
